Riverby - a Woodstock Community

Welcome to Riverby

Riverby was created by Jerry Wapner and partners in the early 1970s out of 600 acres on the south side of Mount Tobias on the western edge of the town of Woodstock.  It started slowly due to economic difficulties at the time but it is now almost fully developed with a diverse population.

I hate to use the term "under construction", but this web site is certainly in its infancy.  The intention is provide information on topics of interest to Riverby residents as well as the services and businesses of Riverby residents in case you want to patronize your neighbors.  Check out Riverby Resources for information ranging from excavating and real estate to spiritual resources.

After many months (years) of negotiations with Time-Warner, cable TV and RoadRunner Internet service is now available in Riverby.  Call 845-331-1711 to get service.  If you don't want cable TV, you can get Internet service cheaper from Earthlink - check www.earthlink.com for information.  Although Time-Warner and Earthlink don't currently offer telephone service, the service from Vonage works reasonably well.
